Downloading offline maps on Hiiker is very simply. Here is 4 steps to get fully offline. The guide is for both Android and iOS.
1. Tap on the Download button
On the Trail Overview page as seen below.

2. Download the map style you want (or both)

3. Exit the Offline Map dialogue, and go straight into the map.

4. In the map style dialogue on the map page, offline styles are marked with a 
Any styles that are available for offline use will automatically be used by the app.

Something I was waiting for and great addition to already good set of features.
I’m on Android and last updates were amazing. I have one question tho: how can I add a trail to the list of completed ones?

Sorry Seb, I thought I responded to this. It’s something that’s only on iOS at the moment, but I’ll have it live on Android in the next week to 10 days at the most!

When you download a map with a route on it .When you get to the start of the route do you need to activate the route or will it automatically point you in the right direction to follow the path I think I missed that part during the tutorial on you tube ..

You can just tap on the user location button to show your location. You can also tap it a second time, and them it works in a “compass mode”. Learn more here:

Can you save the offline maps to a micro-sd card in your phone and run them on the app from there? Or does it have to be in your phone’s memory?

Good question… I don’t think you can select a destination at this time, but you should be able too!
