Russell is a backpacker, hiker and all round outdoors man from the UK. Since his spontaneous decision to climb Ben Nevis (Highest peak in UK) with no mountaineering skills, he has fallen in love with all things hiking and outdoors. He has hiked all over the UK and came under some scrutiny while hiking the PCT in 2020. He does an excellent job of describing the thoughts he had and the tough decisions he had to make while on trail.
