HiiKER hikes are hikes sourced and built by our HiiKER hike production team. Hike data is provided to us from partner organisations and open source data sets, which is reviewed, processed via our hike system and verified for release to you the user to follow and edit as you wish.
But of course there are going to be some hidden gems that we miss.
Submit a hike for public release
When saving a custom hike, you can submit to the HiiKER hike team. Once verified for safety and legitimacy, it will become a public hike — and you’ll be credited as its creator!
This way we can continue to grow our hike database while keeping the data set trusty and reliable, unlike other platforms that can be overrun by poor user created routes. You know who they are….
