At HiiKER, our mission has always been to make the outdoors more accessible — one trail at a time. Over the years, our dedicated hike team has spent countless hours curating, verifying, and adding over 120,000 hikes to our ever-growing global database. From local forest walks to iconic long-distance treks, every route has been checked to ensure it’s safe, accurate, and ready for adventure.
But as any hiker knows — the world is vast, and there’s always another path to discover.
That’s why we’re thrilled to announce Community Hike Submissions, a new way for HiiKER users to help shape the world’s most comprehensive HiiKER hikes database.
Share Your Adventure, Shape the Map
Whether you’ve spotted a great local route that we’re missing, just completed an unforgettable trek or spent time carefully planning your next adventure, you can now submit your custom hike to HiiKER for review.
Once you’ve finished planning or recording a hike in the HiiKER app, simply check the submission box.
Make sure to include as many details as possible like:
- 🏞️ Route name and description – Tell the story of your hike
- 📸 Photos – Capture the scenery and character of the trail
- 💪 Difficulty – Let others know what to expect
- 🏷️ Tags – Add helpful context such as “dog-friendly,” “loop,” or “mountain views”
The more information the better and more likely that we will verify the trail and credit you as it’s creator so you can be lauded with praise 😎
Your submission will then be sent to our experienced hike team for review and we’ll notify you if it’s successful!
