Comfort on the Roman Frontier: The Best accommodation along Hadrian’s Wall Path

Whether you’re embarking on a historical pilgrimage or are an outdoor enthusiast seeking adventure, hiking Hadrian’s Wall Path offers an unforgettable journey. This 84-mile trail stretches from the west coast of Cumbria to the east coast of Tyne and Wear, following the World Heritage Site of Hadrian’s Wall, a Roman fortification built in AD 122.

We released a blog earlier this year, written by Abbie Barnes, where she documented her own journey on the trail. You can read that here.

With varied landscapes and rich history, you’ll want your overnights to be comfortable and relaxing. While to some, comfort can be as simple as a good quality sleeping mat in a tent along the trail. To others, a cosy bed and breakfast is in order.
